33rd Annual Canadian Conference on HIV/AIDS Research (CAHR 2024)
December 31, 2023—The 33rd Annual Canadian Conference on HIV/AIDS Research (CAHR 2024), which will take place in London, Ontario, from April 25th to 28th, 2024. The annual CAHR conference is the premier gathering in Canada for those working in the field of HIV, as well as policy makers, persons living with HIV and other individuals committed to ending the pandemic.
The CAHR 2024 Scientific Committee has developed an outstanding program with a variety of engaging presentations. Complementing the oral abstract presentations of the four CAHR scientific tracks are Key Population sessions and a comprehensive offering of Special Sessions and Symposia. Registration for the 33rd Annual Canadian Conference on HIV/AIDS Research (CAHR 2024) is now open and program details will become available online in the coming weeks.
Of note, in recognition of the vital role that community involvement plays at the event, CAHR will once again be offering 80 Community Registration Scholarships for the Conference. The Community Registration Scholarships allow community members to attend the Conference for free, removing any financial barriers to attendance. Implemented as part of an overall effort by the CAHR Board of Directors to make the CAHR Conference more inclusive and to celebrate diversity, the scholarships are designed to give priority to those living with HIV and those that will utilize the knowledge gained from attending the Conference. The deadline to apply for a Community Scholarship is Monday, January 8, 2024.
