The Reunion Project:
Long-term Survivors in the Rural South
WEDNESDAY MAY 10, 2023
HIV treatment has advanced significantly since the beginning of the pandemic, however not every individual living with HIV has equal access to treatment and care across the HIV care continuum. Location plays a major factor in determining an individual's ability to access to HIV care. Individuals living in the rural South are faced with hardships in terms of transportation, time dedicated to make it to their providers and manage day-to-day activities, and access to a nearby pharmacy—among many other obstacles.
Join The Reunion Project on Wednesday, May 10 from 6-7:15pm ET for the next webinar in the Long-term Survivors Toolkit Series, "Long-term Survivors in the Rural South." During this webinar, we will hear the true lived experiences of individuals living with HIV long-term in the rural South. We will explore their challenges and discuss potential solutions by hearing from two panelists, a keynote speaker, and a robust Q&A session to conclude the webinar. We look forward to seeing you there!
