Did you miss the CAHR New Investigator Workshop at CAHR 2012? Have you been anxiously awaiting the New Investigator Workshop at CAHR 2013?
CAHR is pleased to announce that registration is now open for the first ever fall New HIV Researcher Workshop.
This workshop has proven to be an extremely popular training event for new investigators as well as graduate students and fellows who are planning a career in academic research.
The program will cover topics such as:
- "CIHR 101?
- Getting Funding for your Research
- Mock Grant Reviews
- Mentorship and Career Development
Event details are as follows:
Date: Saturday, November 10 th , 2012
Location: Fairmont Winnipeg hotel, Winnipeg, MB.
Cost: Registration for the workshop is $40. This includes all workshop materials, food throughout the day, as well as an off-site dinner on Saturday evening.
Travel awards will be offered to participants traveling to the Winnipeg area
