Pediatric HIV/AIDS experts to present at 2013 International AIDS Society Conference
Experts from the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation are available for comments and media interviews
25-Jun-2013 - The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (EGPAF) has
released a report to mark the end of its successful project with Cameroon Baptist Convention Health Services (CBCHS) to improve access to
prevention of mother-to-child transmission (PMTCT) and HIV care and treatment services for families in Cameroon.
Experts from the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (EGPAF) will give oral presentations, moderate conference events,
and exhibit a variety of educational posters and abstracts. They will also be available for media questions and public comments on any
breaking news and research presented at the conference related to:
Pediatric HIV/AIDS treatments
Prevention of mother-to-child transmission (PMTCT)
New World Health Organization (WHO) guidelines related to Option B+
New WHO treatment guidelines for children younger than 5 years of age
Maternal and child health
Health system strengthening
