February 7, 2015 marks the 15th year observance of National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day (NBHAAD). NBHAAD is a national HIV prevention community mobilization initiative designed to encourage Blacks across the United States and Territorial Areas to Get Educated, Get Tested, Get Treated, and Get Involved in the fight against HIV & AIDS.
NBHAAD is directed, planned and organized by the Strategic Leadership Council who partners with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to mobilize communities and provide technical support that addresses specific issues in local epidemics and best practices that will influence the course of HIV & AIDS prevention in Black communities across the country.
Everyone is invited to register as a new or returning user for the 2015 Awareness Day.
