(CAHR 2021)
:Community Registration Scholarship opportunities
January 22, 2021 - The 30th Annual Canadian Conference on HIV/AIDS Research (CAHR 2021), will take place virtually from May 5 -7, 2021. The theme of the Conference this year is “Maintaining Our Focus”.
The annual CAHR conference is the premier gathering in Canada for those working in the field of HIV, as well as policy makers, persons living with HIV and other individuals committed to ending the pandemic. Community involvement plays a vital role at the annual CAHR Conference. In recognition of this important role, and thanks to the generous support of Gilead, CAHR will be offering 80 Community Registration Scholarships for CAHR 2021.
The Community Registration Scholarships allow community members to attend the Conference for free, removing any financial barriers to attendance. Implemented as part of an overall effort by the CAHR Board of Directors to make the CAHR Conference more inclusive and to celebrate diversity, the scholarships are designed to give priority to those living with HIV and those that will utilize the knowledge gained from attending the Conference.
Detailed information on the Community Registration Scholarship application and selection process and the link to the online application can be found at Scholarships & Awards
