Conversation with the Creator
and Cast of It’s a Sin
and amfAR

March 24, 2021 - amfAR, The Foundation for AIDS Research, will be hosting a very special virtual conversation with the creator, cast, and executive producer of the HBO Max limited series, It’s a Sin on Thursday, March 25 at 7pm EDT. This free virtual event will stream on amfAR's official YouTube page.

Hosted by award-winning playwright Matthew López, the discussion will cover the show’s inception and production, lessons learned from the early years of the AIDS epidemic, and how we can apply those lessons to the current COVID-19 pandemic. The livestream will first feature a conversation between It’s a Sin creator and writer Russell T Davies, executive producer Nicola Schindler, and amfAR CEO Kevin Robert Frost. Cast members joining the conversation include Olly Alexander, Lydia West, Omari Douglas, Nathaniel Curtis, Keeley Hawes and Callum Scott Howells.

It's a Sin is a hit British television drama series created by renowned screenwriter and TV producer Russell T Davies and developed by Red Production Company. It depicts the lives of a group of gay men and their friends during the HIV/AIDS crisis in the United Kingdom. It’s A Sin and HBO Max have partnered with organizations dedicated to LGBTQIA+ acceptance and HIV/AIDS prevention and awareness, including amfAR.

While the event is free for all, donations are encouraged and can be made HERE.
