The 30 30 Campaign was created in 2013 to celebrate AIDS Vancouver's 30th anniversary. The campaign pieces together the dynamic history of HIV in Vancouver, told by and for those who were there.
VANCOUVER - The 30 30 Campaign, chronicles through video interviews the stories of both AIDS Vancouver and Vancouver's HIV epidemic, over the past 30 years. The videos, the first of their kind in Canada, feature 38 community leaders, nurses, doctors, politicians and people living with HIV, sharing their experiences and memories.
The 30 30 Campaign is hosted on a permanent website that has one of the most comprehensive HIV timelines ever created,
highlighting global and national events and spotlighting the local events that shaped the epidemic. A public resource of this type has
never been available locally and will serve as a teaching tool and a means of honouring all of those before us and all of us now,
for years to come.
