BC PERSONS WITH AIDS SOCIETY'S 22ND ANNUAL AIDS WALK FOR LIFE
Vancouver BC - The BC Persons With AIDS Society (BCPWA), and 15 community partners, present the
22nd Annual AIDS WALK for LIFE on Sunday, September 23rd, in Stanley Park. The AIDS Walk for Life is
a national event, initiated by BCPWA in1989, to raise funds to provide direct care to people living with
HIV/AIDS in Canada.
Proceeds from the AIDS WALK for LIFE provide such services as housing for low income families affected by HIV/AIDS, assistance to women recovering from sexual abuse and support to first nation's organizations tackling increasing HIV/AIDS infections in their communities.
Walk participants can register and fundraise online at www.bcpwa.org.
