18th ANNUAL CANADIAN CONFERENCE ON HIV/AIDS RESEARCH

April 23 - 26, 2009, Westin Bayshore Hotel, Vancouver, British Columbia
Join researchers, frontline public health and community-based workers, people living with HIV and AIDS and others interested in the field of HIV research in Vancouver, BC for CAHR 2009.
The theme of this year's conference is "Facing The Evolving Epidemic" and is meant to capture the challenges in HIV prevention, care and treatment as we move into the next phase of the epidemic.
Interested parties are encouraged to submit abstracts that address evolving issues including:
Base Science
Clinical Science
Epidemiology and Public Health
Social Sciences
Possible abstract submissions may include; new insights into HIV pathogenesis, impacts of the newer antiretroviral drugs, HIV and aging, new methods for estimating HIV prevalence and incidence, the role of mental health in HIV infection and outcomes, and the impact of government policy on infection rates.
Abstracts may be submitted and presented in either English or French, with a limit of two abstract submissions per presenting author. Abstracts can be submitted at http://www.seatoskymeetings.com/cahr2009/abstractsubmission.html
The abstract submission deadline is January 18, 2009.
