Beyond the Scoop: Skills Building for Journalists and CBOs/NGOs in Interpreting and Communicating Trial Results for New HIV Prevention Technologies

This workshop is designed for media and communication staff and aims to:

  • Increase the capacity of media to report on NPT trials with accuracy and sensitivity
  • Enable community-based organizations to critically analyze media discourse about NPT trials
  • Increase the capacity of community representatives to understand and communicate NPT trial

Time: 9:00am - 5:00pm

Location: AIDS Calgary Training Room

Some financial support is available for participants outside of Calgary to attend this workshop. If you require financial support please contact us by January 21st. Priority will be given to those travelling within Alberta.
