Doris Roberts Hosts Annual Fundraiser Benefiting Children Affected by AIDS
LOS ANGELES, March 9, 2010 - Ray Romano will headline the Children Affected by
AIDS Foundation (www.caaf.org) A Night of Comedy VIII fundraising event at the Saban
Theatre in Beverly Hills, on Saturday, May 1, 2010 at 8:00 p.m. In its eighth year, the
star-studded event will be hosted by Doris Roberts and will star Ray Romano, Dane
Cook, Kevin Nealon, Bryan Callen, Jeffrey Ross and Fred Willard.
Generously sponsored by KAOS Entertainment Enterprizes and Wells Fargo, A Night of
Comedy VIII will fill the historic art-deco Saban Theatre (formerly Wilshire Theatre) with
the sounds of laughter benefiting the Foundation's work with children impacted by
HIV/AIDS.
"A Night of Comedy VIII will welcome an amazing line up of comedians that have all
volunteered their time and talent to help us support children affected by this global
epidemic," said Children Affected by AIDS Foundation founder and board chair Joe
Cristina. "It's amazing to be part of an event that incorporates the healing power of
laughter to support children in need. I would like to personally thank Doris and Ray for
their continuing support as well as all of the performers involved this year."
Romano and Roberts have been involved in Night of Comedy since its inception and the
event has raised more than $1.5 million to benefit the Foundation. Last year's event
featured performances by Ray Romano, Bryan Callen, Kevin James, Jeffrey Ross,
Bob Saget and Bruce Vilanch and raised more than $125,000 for direct services for
children affected by HIV and AIDS. The Children Affected by AIDS Foundation is the
only organization solely devoted to providing social, educational, recreational and other
critical support programs to vulnerable children impacted by HIV/AIDS in the U.S. and

vulnerable children impacted by HIV/AIDS in the U.S. and other countries.
